New iPhone 5 Comes Packing LTE

It’s confirmed! The newest iPhone, just announced this morning in San Francisco, will be coming with LTE on board.

Fans have been patiently waiting for the Apple handset to get 4G LTE, even while Android has been flooding the market with devices featuring next-gen cellular network support. Users in the U.S. can expect the device to work with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, while those in Canada can get the next-gen speeds on Rogers, Telus and Bell. The company named off a bevy of carriers around the world the iPhone 5 will work with, so we’ll be sure to update the post when we get a full run down of all the carriers.
