The Galaxy Note II is on its way to Sprint, according to a leaked internal document. When the device was officially unveiled at IFA, Samsung kept quiet about when and where consumers could expect the device to land. A week after and we still don’t have any idea; none of the big for U.S. carriers have stepped up to announce any sort of availability. But Sprint could be the first one to break the silence.
The XDA developer who allegedly came across the Sprint document claims they’ve received additional confirmation that the carrier does indeed have plans to offer the device. Oh, and the specs attached to the U.S. model? Pretty amazing.
Sprint’s iteration of the Galaxy Note II will reportedly come with Android 4.1.1, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD expandable up to 32GB), 8-megapixel camera, 1280×720 screen, Exynos 4412 processor and LTE. Yes, and LTE.
Here’s hoping this rumor is true, and that the super duper-sized Note II is coming soon.
