Apple may have given a bit too much away about the iPhone 5 in the way it decorated the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

A taller screen for the iPhone 5 has been hinted at endlessly, and at this point almost seems to be a lock, but Apple may have also put a clue in the outside decorations of the media event location. Eagle-eyed forum users over at MacRumors noticed that the colors matched up with some of the icons on the iPhone, the most distinguishable being the iTunes icon.

We have to say, that’s some pretty convincing evidence there.

Why would Apple stretch out the icons? Well, if the screen is indeed taller as we’ve been hearing, it would make sense to convey this by stretching everything. Does this mean they will be stretched on the phone itself? We highly doubt it, but from a quick visual reference point of view, it makes sense.

We’ll find out everything for sure this coming Wednesday when Apple holds its media event.
