The only intel missing from today’s HTC 8X leak — a Windows Phone 8 handset with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor — was when it will launch and what carrier the device would be available from. Enter TmoNews. The 8X will apparently hit T-Mobile on Nov. 14, according to an internal roadmap. The timing jives with Microsoft’s expected Oct. 29 Windows Phone 8 release; handsets running the Redmond company’s new mobile OS should hit a few weeks after that.
If you were left unimpressed by Nokia’s Lumia 920, HTC’s unannounced handset sounds like a fantastic WP8 device. In addition to the 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the handset will reportedly come with a 4.3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display and 8-megapixel camera and a microSD slot. We’ll probably here more at HTC’s Sept. 19 press event.
