Apple will announce the iPhone 5 during a press event on Sept. 12 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, that much we already know, and now the Cupertino-based company is preparing for the big day. Several sites have started to post images of employees setting up for the event; the building is being decked out with window art and Apple posters all over.
It’s not unusual for Apple to add a bit of color to the advertisements at its events, but we’re wondering if the neon in the shots above signifies that we may indeed see an iPod refresh, possibly with multiple iPod touch colors. We’d love a batch of colorful iPhone 5 units, but we’re guessing pigs will fly before Apple ever takes that route. We’ll be reporting on all of the breaking news on Sept. 12 so stay tuned for plenty of Apple news!
