Amazon’s New Kindle Fire: Faster, Cheaper and Ships on Sept. 14

kindle-fire-2The much anticipated sequel to last year’s groundbreaking Kindle Fire was finally unveiled at a swanky gala by Amazon on Thursday. “The Kindle Fire is a service,” Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos declared. And that service just got more advanced. But even better, it’s cheaper, slotting in at just $159, and it starts shipping on Sept. 14, which is oh-so close. Amazon is serious.
