Facebook Buys InstagramFacebook’s acquisition of Instagram was made official on Thursday, finally getting clearance from the FTC. The two companies made separate announcements on their respective blogs, with Instagram sharing that over five billion photos have been shared on the social network. Amazing, considering the initial release was only back in October 2010. The next step for Instagram, we can only hopefully, will be to kick out a Windows Phone app. Can you imagine all the great photos people would snap on the Lumia 920? Sounds like a winning combo.
