Samsung is reportedly preparing to bombard the smartphone market with three additional Galaxy phones, including the Galaxy S2 Plus. According to multiple reports, the company is eyeing the lower-end market as its main focus, meaning don’t hold your breathe for any groundbreaking specs.
In addition to the Galaxy S2 Plus, consumers could also expect the Galaxy S3 Mini and Galaxy Premier. The Plus could sport a 1GHz processor and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display; the GS3 Mini a 4-inch display, dual-core CPU and 5-megapixel cam; and the Premier to include a 4.6-inch HD display. Only the Premier was mentioned to sport Jelly Bean, but I’d imagine the other two to run Google’s latest OS as well.
No date or timeframe has been attached to this rumor, so don’t get too excited about these three amigos just yet. We’ll likely hear more in the coming weeks and months.
