Nokia’s next-generation of smartphones will reportedly be the first to bring the company’s PureView technology to Windows Phone 8. Named the Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920, the devices won’t look too dissimilar to their Windows Phone predecessors, and they’re expected to be available in a range of bright colors.
Renders for both devices were leaked on Twitter earlier today. The Lumia 920 can be seen above, and the Lumia 820 below.
The Lumia 920, which has previously been codenamed the Nokia “Phi,” is expected to be the most impressive of the two handsets, boasting a 4.5-inch display, making it Nokia’s biggest smartphone to date. As for the Lumia 820, that’s expected to sport a 4.3-inch display. Both devices will reportedly boast the same PureView technology that has impressed in the Nokia 808 PureView.
Not a lot else is known about these handset, but we’ll find out more when they get their grand unveiling at a Nokia event in New York City on September 5.
