Earlier this week we reported on an internal memo that suggests T-Mobile will not be getting the iPhone 5. The memo states for T-Mo employees are to, in fact, sell hard against the iPhone and carriers selling the iPhone.
This new email allegedly alerts T-Mobile employees to block out the weekend of Sept. 21 to Sept. 24, which coincidently falls in line with dates that AT&T and Verizon Wireless employees have been told to prepare for the likely iPhone 5 release window. What this “All Hands Day” is for is uncertain. It could be wide implementation of a new Android phone, who knows. Maybe the employees will be there to turn away customers when they come in to ask if they have the iPhone 5.
One thing for certain, all clues point to T-Mobile not getting the iPhone and now a lot of lonely, over-staffed employees at your local T-Mobile store.
