AT&T Opens up Flagship Chicago Store Designed to Showcase its Technology

AT&T on Thursday announced the grand-opening of a 10,000 square foot branded theme park designed to showcase the carrier’s best and brightest technology. Located on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the massive retail store is a canvas for AT&T to show off its lavish taste; it’s like a great big Man Cave set up to attract the curious passerby and technology obsessives.

Here are but a few of the “firsts” AT&T is touting in its Super Bowl stadium: 18-foot high connect Wall, more than 100 digital screens, first-ever retail demo of a connected 2012 Nissan Leaf, AT&T’s Digital Life home security service, biometric tech and more. It honestly sounds like a front for an underground CIA operation where new technology is born and bred.

If you want to immerse yourself further into everything AT&T, check out the above video, or visit the store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
