Fresh from Nintendo’s Japanese Nintendo Direct event that aired online overnight are a few bits of information and media for the biggest Nintendo 3DS titles releasing in the near future.
This particular blast concerns Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 3DS. While the clip is in Japanese, a few cool new features are made apparent. First, players will be able to dictate the opening and closing hours of their town’s stores. No more fishing after midnight without a place to sell your catches.
Also, Nintendo’s making use of the Nintendo 3DS’ cameras by adding a QR code feature to clothing design. Players will be able to design their own patterns and share them whenever and wherever they want by creating a unique QR code. That means those particularly talented folks among us will be able to craft all sorts of brilliant things for sharing on the internet.
Animal Crossing 3DS will launch this November 8th in Japan. The rest of the world will supposedly see the game some time in 2013. We’re hoping that elusive date comes sooner rather than later.
