Samsung has some big moves planned for IFA 2012, but not all of its products promise to revolve around the incredibly popular Android platform. In a post on Samsung Notebook’s Facebook on Monday, the company teased what could turn out to be a transforming Windows 8 tab set to go up against the Surface. The image reads, “Ready to be smart?” with accompanying text below the photo saying that the device is just around the corner.
The Korean company quietly unveiled a Series 5 Hybrid Windows 8 tab at Computex earlier this year, The Verge said, and the device in the above image bears a striking resemblance. The alleged device will reportedly feature an 11-inch screen, attachable keyboard (similar to the Asus Transformer line) and a stylus. IFA officially kicks off on Friday, so we should definitely know more when the shows gets underway.
