Apple Asks Court to Ban Sales of 8 Samsung Devices

by Roy Choi | August 27, 2012August 27, 2012 11:55 am PDT

Apple today, filed with the court the list of devices they would like Samsung to pull from the market.

According to the filing, Apple is asking the court to ban the following devices from being sold in the U.S.:

  • Galaxy S 4G
  • Galaxy S II (AT&T)
  • Galaxy S II Skyrocket (AT&T)
  • Galaxy S II (T-Mobile)
  • Galaxy SII Epic 4G
  • Galaxy S Showcase
  • Droid Charge
  • Galaxy Prevail

The ruling on Friday covered far more devices, mostly devices no longer on the market, but these eight devices are those that are actually still being sold.  After Friday’s announcement, we knew the request to pull Samsung devices would have been inevitable and we’re bound to see more fallout from the initial trial.
