The official Flickr app for Android has been updated this week to introduce improvements to its user interface, in addition to new editing features.

Users can now swipe through images to make navigation photo albums a much faster and smoother experience. What’s more, the app now includes the pull-to-refresh gesture that has become so common on iOS, making it quicker to refresh pages and load new content; and users can use third-party camera apps to snap their shots — rather than Flickr’s built-in option.

The Verge reports the new app also includes the ability to edit descriptions and metadata for existing photos, which was previously only available via the Flickr website.

You can download the latest Flick app now from Google Play.
