Rockstar’s just doling out the screenshots left and right this week. This time, it’s for Max Payne 3.
The “Disorganized Crime” DLC, which is free, includes a multiplayer Hoboken map, marking what is likely the first and only time there will be a playable map of Hoboken, New Jersey in a video game. The pack also includes modifiers for the score attack mode and, most interestingly, a new Noir Mode for single-player.
The mode, as one might expect, lets players check out the game in black & white. The change was likely a simple one to implement, but it’s a fun excuse to dive in once more. With the cutscenes using the game engine instead of comic panels, the mode makes a lot of sense for Max Payne 3, where it might not have worked as well in previous entries.
