Cricket on Wednesday announced it will offer the HTC One V starting Sept. 2 for just $270. When compared to what most folks would pay on AT&T or Verizon, that price point isn’t all that much higher than the cost of a subsidized device with two-year plan. While the One V isn’t the most lauded troupe of the One lineup, it’s certainly an attractive device that is more than capable of holding its own. The One V features set includes: a 3.7-inch super LCD display, a 1GHz Snapdragon S3 processor, Android 4.0, a 5-megapixel camera with ImageSense tech and Beats Audio. If you’re a spec fiend, the One V doesn’t top something like the Galaxy S III, or the One X, but it’s certainly an attractive offer if you go down the no-contract route.
