RadioShack Reportedly Launching “No Contract Wireless” Network on September 5

radioshack-no-contract-wireless-memoDoes a RadioShack-branded wireless carrier sound like something you can get behind? Because it’s happening. According to Engadget, which received an internal memo for the “No Contract Wireless” network, a launch is set for September 5. RadioShack says the network, which is powered by Cricket, is about “choices,” though it’s unclear exactly what devices will be offered — there seems to be an exclusive 8GB SD memory card with all Muve Music phones as incentive — and at what price. The above picture merely suggests that “affordable monthly plans” are on the way; one would assume RadioShack will offer comparable prices to other no-contract carriers.
