Apple Most Valuable Company

Apple has now become the most valuable company in history thanks to a surge in its stock price this morning.

In the intraday trading today, Apple’s market cap value has surpassed the record set by Microsoft in December 1999 of $618.89 billion. As trading is still active, the market cap of Apple is still in flux, but it is a couple of billion ahead of that price at the time of this post.

We highly doubt that will stop any of the congratulatory pats-on-the-back currently going on in the Cupertino headquarters.
