The Acer Cloud Mobile is expected to make its debut in the United Kingdom on September 5, according to retailer Expansys. Customers can pre-order the device — which will cost £284.99 (approx. $448) SIM-free — from today.
For that you get a 4.3-inch smartphone with a 720p high definition display, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It also packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset will come running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and as yet it’s unclear whether a Jelly Bean upgrade is in the works.
Expansys says it’s expecting stock on September 5, but it’s waiting for Acer to confirm this date. The company told TechRadar:
“This is the latest information from Acer regarding the handset, and we hope to speak to Acer again today about it.”
