Verizon Confirms Ice Cream Sandwich Update Rolling Out to Motorola DROID 4

Motorola Droid 4 KeyboardVerizon on Monday confirmed Motorola DROID 4 users will get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich starting today, with the OTA update getting a wider rollout over the week. Joining with its Razr brethren, the upgrade in OS will introduce an array of improvements to the QWERTY device, including a new home screen launcher, improved launch screen and enhanced notifications center, just to name a few — along with the ability for Global Roaming. So not only will DROID 4 users see what the fuss of ICS is all about, they can also now take advantage of the phone in than 200 countries around the world. Owners of the Motorola handset should have already started to receive notifications, otherwise you can manually check for system updates in settings.
