Mysterious Samsung “GT-P8110” Tablet Passes Through the FCC

A recent FCC filing by Samsung has pulled back the curtain on a mysterious tablet listed as the “GT-P8110.” Slim on details, the listed documents reveal 16GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and NFC. Unlike Samsung’s current tablet lineup, which has more of a square-like form factor, this unknown slab features completely rounded corners akin to a large Galaxy S III.

You might jump to the conclusion that this is an Android tablet, but it could very well be packing Windows 8. Recently, during the grueling Samsung vs. Apple patent trial, documents revealed that Samsung is working on an 11.8-inch (2560 x 1600 resolution) tablet noted as the “P10.” Could we possibly be looking at a tablet from the same product line? If so, hopefully this forthcoming device will be packing Samsung’s next-gen Exynos 5 Dual processor.

We know that a trip to the FCC doesn’t always translate to an immediate product release, but we’ll definitely be keeping “tabs” on this tablet until more details break loose.
