Sprint Cuts the iPhone 4S’ Price by $50

by Mark Hearn | August 6, 2012August 6, 2012 9:35 pm PDT

Rarely does the  iPhone see a price drop from wireless carriers unless a replacement model is released, but it appears Sprint has made an exception. The Now Network has dropped the price of the iPhone 4S by $50 across all models (16, 32 and 64GB). Available exclusively through Sprint’s website, the discount also includes free activation.

As much as we’d like to call this confirmation of the iPhone 5’s imminent arrival, it should be noted that the iPhone 4’s pricing has not yet changed. There is no word if other carriers will follow suit.

Considering Sprint is the lone iPhone carrying, nation-wide carrier with unlimited data plans, this offer is enticing for a “current” model iPhone.
