We love Negri Electronics. Now we love the company a bit more. As of today, you can pre-order Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1, which will apparently ship as soon as tomorrow. Yowza, that’s pretty awesome considering that the Galaxy Note 10.1 hasn’t really been announced in the United States yet. We first had a hands-on with the device way back in February during Mobile World Congress, but we haven’t heard much more about it since.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 packs a 10.1-inch display (as the tablet’s name implies) with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 16GB of storage and support for quad-band 21Mbps wireless networks. That sounds delicious, but here’s where things turn a bit sour: the tablet will set you back $750. To put that in perspective, you could purchase three Nexus 7 tablets for the same price. Plus, you’ll still have $150 leftover to spend on the dinner you’ll need to buy your significant other while you explain why you just bought three tablets.
We expect to hear more about the Galaxy Note 10.1 during Samsung’s August 15th press conference in New York City.
