Paul Dini Done with Batman: Arkham Games

Recently, rumors swirled when sources indicated that Rocksteady was setting up for a brand new foray into their version of Batman’s universe. The next game would be a prequel, and it would happen during the Silver Age of Batman’s story run.

That rumor has neither been confirmed or denied.

However, Paul Dini himself has taken time to indicate that he is, as of now, done with the Batman: Arkham line of games. Here he is in two separate Tweets:

“Kinda hoped I’d be doing another Arkham game in London during the Olympics. Esp, as I had a good source for tx. Ah, well.”

“”are you working on another arkham game?’ No.”

This, folks, is a shame. If Rocksteady is working on another Batman game and Dini isn’t involved, I’m officially disappointed. Dini has a mastery of Batman‘s lore at his disposal, and he’s proven that with every bit of work he’s done for the character’s canon.

Dini was responsible for both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. He gets Batman, folks.
