Rumored to be a follow-up to Sony’s Xperia S, the unannounced Xperia SL’s pink and blue color options were leaked last month. If those two color variants weren’t to your liking, worry not, because ePrice has scored some additional press images that display black, white and silver color variants of the Xperia SL.
At a glance, the Xperia SL bears a strong resemblance to its predecessor. However, this follow-up device is rumored to be packing a beefy 1.7GHz dual-core processor. If in fact the Xperia SL is Sony’s new flagship smartphone, it will definitely have its work cut out for it against contenders such as Samsung’s Galaxy S III and HTC’s One X, Perhaps Sony will manage to one-up its competition by shipping the device with Jelly Bean. This could potentially lure customers away from competing high-end Android handsets.
Sony is set to hold a press event in Berlin on August 29th during IFA, which TechnoBuffalo will be attending. The event could very well be the company’s platform to reveal its new flagship smartphone. We’ll be sure to bring you our hands-on impressions if the device is unveiled.
