Mountain Lion Yawning

Apple announced on Monday that OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion was downloaded more than 3 million times in just 4 days. Mountain Lion, which is available for $19.99, went on sale last Wednesday and delivers more than 200 new features to OS X users.

“Just a year after the incredibly successful introduction of Lion, customers have downloaded Mountain Lion over three million times in just four days, making it our most successful release ever,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

Mountain Lion delivers a host of new features including AirPlay mirroring, GameCenter, Notifications, Messages and much more. It will also soon offer Facebook integration. Unfortunately, more than just a few users (including us) are also experiencing a serious wireless bug. Apple has yet to reveal any fix or additional information on the issue.
