Verizon’s LG Spectrum 2 Begins Appearing in Internal Databases

We already know that the LG Spectrum 2 is on its way to Verizon Wireless. However, the yet to be announced smartphone’s release date may be drawing closer. Shots of a Verizon CelleBrite unit have surfaced listing a device known as VS930, which is the model number for the Spectrum 2.

Retailers use CelleBrite systems to transfer data, such as contacts, from one smartphone to another. If Verizon’s CelleBrite units are listing the Spectrum 2 as a registered smartphone, we assume that a release date will be announced soon.

As a refresher, the LG Spectrum 2 to will feature a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel camera, NFC capabilities, Android 4.0.4 and GSM/UMTS global roaming support.

We can’t wait to get our hands on Verizon’s future globetrotter.
