The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is on its way, but we still don’t know exactly when this device will make its retail debut. A new TV commercial promoting the tablet has recently surfaced, but a recent hands-on with the tablet by The Brave Post may have revealed more details.

The report claims that the device features 2GB of RAM, as opposed to the 1GB that we’ve previously seen. There is also mention of the device working in tandem with your smartphone as a speakerphone, or as an alternate for sending and receiving text messages. Sounds like a pretty awesome smartphone/tablet tie-in to us.

Samsung is setting the stage for a big announcement on August 15th and with its Galaxy S III flagship smartphone already in the hands of consumers across the globe, something tells us that the Galaxy Note 10.1’s day in the sun is nearing.
