Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus feat

Verizon Wireless is now selling the Galaxy Nexus for just $99 with a new two-year contract. Verizon has not yet announced when its version of the phone will receive the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean build, but we’re assuming it’s going to be among the first considering that the unlocked version has already received the update.

As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Nexus runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED contoured, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also supports Verizon’s 4G LTE data network.

We recently ranked the Galaxy Nexus among our favorite Android smartphones in the U.S., so $100 seems like a steal to us.
