We first went hands-on with the Kyocera Rise at CTIA back in May, but at that time no carrier was being announced for the device. Thanks to a leaked press image, it looks like it will be on Sprint.
When we saw the Kyocera Rise a little over two months ago, the company wasn’t saying as of yet which carriers it would be arriving on, but the inclusion of EVO-DO Rev. A and 1X radios made us fairly positive it would be Sprint and possibly Virgin. Thanks to a press image leaked today by @evleaks, the SprintZone and Speint ID button make it pretty obvious that this physical QWERTY handset will be making its way to the Now Network.
The Kyocera Rise will include 3.5-inch HVGA (480 x 320), a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and Wi-Fi. Still no information on when it will be released or how much it will cost.
