Windows Phone 8 will reportedly first hit consumer hands in November. Often presumed to arrive around the release of Windows 8, ZDnet on Thursday provided a more specific timeframe than the usual “fall” conjecture. Microsoft’s mobile darling was only just revealed last month, and it’s hotly anticipated release is seen as a catalyst for WP growth in the mobile market. Currently, the OS is expected to capture just 4 percent of the market in 2012, up from 3 percent in 2011. If Windows Phone is your thing, definitely hold off for the next few months before picking up a new WP handset, otherwise the goodness of Windows Phone 8 will be a distant dream.
