It looks like Samsung will hold one of its well-known Unpacked events at IFA in Berlin this year, and the focus may be on the Galaxy Note 2.
The original Galaxy Note was unveiled at IFA last year, so it makes sense that Samsung might choose to unveil its successor at the same event the following year. According to SammyHub, that is exactly what will be happening.
While Samsung has yet to announce the event, according to sources that spoke with the site, the South Korean manufacturer will hold an Unpacked event on the evening of August 30, the day before the official kick-off of IFA 2012. Apparently the focus of the announcements will be the Galaxy Note 2 which many rumors are saying will be slightly larger than the first iteration of the phablet.
Our own Todd Haselton will be in Berlin for IFA this year, so should this indeed go down we will be sure to bring you all of the coverage.
