Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G LTE may be one of our favorite smartphones the Now Network has to offer, but recently the handset has experienced some issues with Google Wallet. Fully aware of this issue, Google has been working with Sprint to bring a fix to distressed customers and it appears we may be one step closer to a resolution.

The folks over at AndroidCentral noticed that Google Play’s listing for Google Wallet has been updated and states “ Google Wallet will be unavailable on the EVO 4G until an OTA update in July.” Seeing how we’re currently in the month of July, this note from Google indicates that Google Wallet should be up and running for EVO 4G LTE owners within the next three weeks, provided Google does not encounter any further issues. However, until we hear any additional details from Google, we’ll continue to keep an eye on this frustrating situation.
