Resident Evil 6 Demo Hits Xbox 360 for Dragon’s Dogma Owners

Leon-Resident-Evil-6

If you were one of the million people who purchased Capcom’s open-world RPG Dragon’s Dogma last month, throw it into your Xbox x360 and check out a pleasant update. Capcom has just released a demo for Resident Evil 6 exclusively to thank the Xbox 360 fans who took a chance on their new IP. To access the deal, you will need to redeem the code written on the back of a Dragon’s Dogma instruction manual, and the demo should be accessible through the game itself.

The demo plays up the hype surrounding its three different play styles. Control Leon to get the traditional horror survival style long time fans have clamored for, Chris Redfield for an updated action packed take on Resident Evil 5, or the new kid on the block, Jake Muller, for his take on running from things.

The deal will remain exclusive to the Xbox 360 for two months until it makes a jump to the PlayStation 3 on September 3rd. The full game will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 2nd, and a PC version will follow shortly after.
