Yesterday, Google announced that its Chrome browser had officially launched for Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Less than 24 hours later, the browser is now the top free application in the iTunes App Store for the iPhone. Talk about rapid success. What does this mean for Apple’s Safari browser? We imagine most users are still using the default option, but it certainly shows that Google has the power to quickly sway iOS users to its products. That’s funny, considering that Apple has opted to ditch Google Maps for its own turn-by-turn Map software in iOS 6. What’s your favorite feature of Chrome for iOS?
