Apple has been granted a preliminary injunction against sales of the Samasung Galaxy Nexus by Judge Lucy Koh.

The preliminary ban is one granted by Judge Koh as the two companies prepare to go to court over the Galaxy Nexus.  The order will go into effect as soon as Apple posts a $95.6 million bond to cover lost sales for Samsung should the South Korean company prevail in the matter.

The order prevents Samsung from selling the Galaxy Nexus or any other device that is ”no more than colorably different” from the one covered in the latest ruling.

This is the second blow to Samsung this week as Judge Koh also issued an injunction against sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
