Virgin Mobile launched the HTC One V on Thursday, the entry-level member of HTC’s popular One family that also includes the One X and the One S. The One V offers a 3.7-inch display with an 800x 480-pixel resolution, a 1GHz processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 5-megapixel camera. Those specs aren’t as impressive as what you’d find on a high-end $200 phone with a two-year contract, but Virgin Mobile is offering the device contract-free, which makes it a pretty good deal. If you have a bit of extra cash sitting around you might want to opt for the iPhone 4S instead.
