We love the idea of Google Glass, but this just looks even sillier than the original product. Google’s Sergey Brin, who made a big splash at Google I/O yesterday when he had skydivers, BMX bikers and repellers deliver a pair of Google Glass glasses to the stage, again discussed project glass on Thursday. This time, however, he showed off a new accessory that allows you to turn the product into sunglasses. As The Verge reports, it looks like you just snap the glasses right on to the existing Google Glass project. At least now you won’t have to squint while using Google’s $1,500 accessory on a sunny day.
