google-nexus-7The Nexus 7 tablet is finally official. Google introduced the device at its I/O conference on Wednesday, and it’s everything we expected: Tegra 3, 12-core GPU, front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, NFC and 1280 x 800 HD display. Built for Google Play, the device is promised to get 9 hours of video playback, up to 300 hours of standby, all at a mere 340 grams, so it’s extremely portable. The device’s main focus, of course, is all about media consumption.
