We first had a chance to go hands-on with Verizon’s HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE during CTIA in May, but Verizon still hasn’t told us when the phone will be available for purchase. That could change soon, however. An internal document obtained by Droid-Life reveals that the phone is scheduled to launch on Verizon Wireless on July 5 (see the lower left-hand side of the picture above). It’s unclear what the hold-up is, especially since the phone is expected to cost $199.99 with a new two-year contract. That price is on a par with what other carriers are charging for the superior Samsung Galaxy S III. The DROID Incredible 4G LTE offers Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 4-inch Super LCD display with a qHD resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, Beats Audio and a front-facing camera for video chat. We’ll keep you in the loop as soon as Verizon makes the launch date official.
