Satechi’s Portable Energy Station Gives Your Device a Boost When on the Go

If you’re like the TechnoBuffalo staff, you’re pretty hard on your mobile device’s battery. While spare car chargers and extra batteries help to get your smartphone or tablet through the day, sometimes you still need a extra charge. The Satechi 10,000mAh Portable Energy Station aims to be that something extra by keeping your smartphone or tablet charged while away from a power outlet.

The $50 mobile charging solution makes an ideal travel companion for your smartphone or tablet. It works with most devices available on the market, thanks to its two included USB ports and a 6-in-1 adapter cable, and, as its name implies, packs a 10,000mAh battery. That’s not quite enough to fully power the new iPad’s 11,666mAh battery, but it should definitely help extend your device’s battery life when in a pinch. Once you’ve depleted the energy station’s battery, you can charge using the included AC adapter or via USB and there’s an LED indicator to let you know how much battery life remains.
