The iPad and the Microsoft Surface: A Tale of Two Introductions

Some viewers of  the launch of the Microsoft Surface thought it sounded a bit familiar, and now one site is trying to help give you the evidence so you can make your own judgement.

The folks over at ReadWriteWeb thought portions of the Surface tablet launch sounded a bit familiar to them, so they took a look back at the launch of the original iPad back in 2010 and assembled a video to see what others thought.  While we have to admit that a lot of it does sound an awful lot alike, that can also be chalked up to there are only many ways to drum up excitement for your products, and it’s going to be natural for some words to cross over.

It’s up to you to make the final call if you think Microsoft went a bit far, but we do have to say … yeah, it does sound an awful lot a like.  Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think.
