Many of Sprint’s Android enthusiasts have likely placed pre-orders for Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S III but, earlier today, the Now Network released a bit of bad news. Citing the overwhelming demand for Samsung’s new flagship, Sprint has announced that it’s running behind in shipments and that the 16GB model of the Galaxy S III will be available through both web sales and telesales on June 21st. As for those who pre-ordered the device, it’s expected to arrive on June 21st as scheduled, but some orders may possibly be delayed by a day or two.

For those of you who pre-ordered the 32GB model of the Galaxy S III, Sprint states that pre-orders should ship sometime next week and that customers can check the status of their order at www.sprint.com/myorder.
