Indie Point-and-Click Adventure Resonance Debuts

by Ron Duwell | June 20, 2012June 20, 2012 11:45 pm PDT

After five years of development, Wadjeteye Games is finally releasing their point-and-click indie adventure Resonance.

The sci-fi thriller follows in the vein of old LucasArts and Sierra point and click adventures with a plot following four characters as they try to secure a murdered physicist’s dangerous new technology from the wrong people. Featuring solid voice acting, very impressive sprite work, and a branching plot based on player decisions, Resonance can hopefully reinvigorate the excitement of a genre nearly twenty years beyond its heyday.

Resonance is available through Wadjeteye Games’ official website for $9.99, including digital backgrounds and the game’s soundtrack in MP3 format. GOG.com also has landed rights to sell the game exclusively for a week before it becomes available everywhere else.
