CBS Wants to Turn Mobile Game Draw Something Into a TV Show

Draw SomethingStudios will put darn near anything on TV if there’s the potential for money to be made and, darn it, this has cash grab written all over it. According to Deadline, CBS has reportedly ordered an unscripted pilot of… Draw Something, the mobile One Hit Wonder that swept the Internet a few months back, but has dropped off significantly in popularity.

“Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs,” the show’s description reads. “Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.” Quite fittingly, the ludicrous project is being executive produced by none other than Ryan Seacrest, who seems to be attached to the worst kind of shows.

CBS was previously responsible for bringing $#*! My Dad Says to TV audiences, which was based on a Twitter feed. There are good ideas, and there are bad ideas.
