Sony announced on Thursday that AT&T will begin offering its Xperia ion Android smartphone on June 24th for $99.99 with a new two-year contract. The Xperia ion supports AT&T’s 4G LTE network and also sports a 4.6-inch HD Reality display with a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution and Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA ENgine, an HDMI-out port, a 12-megapixel camera with Fast Capture, NFC, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot for additional storage and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It also comes with a powerful quick charger in the box, an accessory that we haven’t seen offered by many other phone makers. Sounds awesome — but how’s the battery life in general? You’ll have to wait for our review to find out.
