Google Play BooksIt’s summer, which is the perfect time to start checking stuff off your reading list. And if you prefer the digital to that oh-so satisfying New Book Smell, why not peruse the book section of Google Play? As of today, Google’s bookstore is being opened up to folks in Germany who can start enjoying bestselling titles such as Charlotte Link’s Der Beobachter or Jeanette Walls’ Ein ungezähmtes Leben, along with some older titles. Von Goethe would definitely approve. Access to Google’s bookstore has been largely made available in English-speaking countries only, with a more worldwide presence slowly trickling through the pipeline.
