Sony just announced the Xperia tipo (above) and the Xperia miro (below), two brand new Android smartphones. The Xperia tipo is equipped with an 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 1,500mAh battery, a 3.2-inch display a 3.2-megapixel camera, 2.5GB of storage, Sony’s xLOUD audio technology and a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will launch in blue, red, white and black color schemes. Sony also noted that a dual-SIM version of the phone will be available, likely in emerging markets. The Xperia miro is similar to the Xperia tipo but offers a few enhanced hardware features. It’s equipped with a 3.5-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera, Sony’s xLOUD audio tech, DLNA and more, and will launch in black, black/pink, white and white/gold. Both phones are due out during the third quarter of this year.
