Following its unveiling at WWDC this week, Apple’s “next-generation MacBook Pro” has received its first TV commercial, entitled “Every Dimension.”
The 30-second clip seems a little more dramatic than Apple’s most recent ads — even those for the new iPad — with powerful music and dark backgrounds. But I quite like it. And I certainly like that new MacBook Pro. Doesn’t it just look incredible?
The clip shows Apple’s new notebook — which is the first to feature a super high-resolution Retina display, with 5 million more pixels than a 1080p television — running applications like Aperture, Mail, and Final Cut Pro. The machine rotates during the clip to show just how slim the new design is.
There’s not a whole lot of dialogue in the new clip. In fact, there’s only two sentences:
“The radical new MacBook Pro with Retina display. Innovation in every dimension.”
I don’t know about you, but I don’t need a narrator to convince me I need the new MacBook Pro.
